Changes and Summer Sky, two poems by LaDonna Fehlberg were published in the 2010 Las Positas College Anthology along with her photograph Lilies Among the Rocks. This is LaDonna’s fifth year to be included in the anthology. During those years, her photography Destiny placed first and Tension placed third in the art category.

Violet Carr Moore was a winner in the February Super Bowl Snacks haiku contest. Her poem was published in the printed editions of Contra Costa Times and Tri-Valley Herald. It also appeared online in the San Jose Mercury News and Oakland Tribune where it was linked to encyclopedia.com.
Annette Langer’s travel book, A Funny Thing Happened on My Way to the World, will be released by the end of January 2010. The book chronicles her travels to all seven continents and the adventures that happened along the way.

Patty Flaherty’s story “The Seating Plan” was published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: True Love on Dec 29. Her short story Pillion won an honorable mention for the Carolyn A. Clark Flash Fiction contest, sponsored and judged by Carolyn A. Clark, National league of American Pen Women, Nob Hill Branch.
