Annette Langer presented a one-hour talk at the Pleasanton Senior Center on the benefits of humor and laughter in one’s life despite challenges. She also had a successful book signing afterwards and obtained a future speaking engagement from another organization.

Anne Ayers Koch recently published, “Following Alice – A Life in Teaching.” Following Alice is the third volume in a series of essays available on Amazon. All proceeds will be donated to the scholarship fund at DeLaSalle High School.
Julaina Kleist-Corwin won third place for “Dinner in the Jungle” in Sheila Bender’s Write It Real Contest. Amazon #1 Best Selling author, Terry Persun was the guest judge. Part of Julaina’s story will be published as a Writing It Real article later this month.
