Membership
California Writers Club Tri-Valley Branch
The CWC membership year begins July 1 and ends June 30 of the next year. Membership includes many benefits. Here are a few:
- Reduced speaker meeting, workshop, and conference fees
- Participation in branch sponsored critique groups
- Monthly branch newsletter
- Potential publication in our biennial anthology
- Participation in various specialty groups such as social media, beta reader co-op, and contest feedback
- And all other events that are open to the public

Instructions differ for New Members, Dual Members, Student Members, or Renewing Members (see below), but in all cases payment must be made out to CWC Tri-Valley Branch and may be sent to

New Members ONLY

There is a one-time enrollment fee of $20 in addition to the $45 annual dues for a total of $65. (Applications accepted between January 1 and June 1 pay the $20 enrollment fee and half-year dues of $22.50 for a total of $42.50.)
Note: New members MUST submit the application form with writing samples. Please email application form and 5 pages of sample writing to: membership@trivalleywriters.org. Please state “New Member” in the subject line of your email. Or you may snail mail your application and writing samples to the above address.
Dual Membership
Dual membership is where primary membership is with another CWC branch. To join another branch, the fee is $25 payable to each additional branch you join. Please notify TVW of your primary branch affiliation via email to: membership@trivalleywriters.org. Or you may snail mail your payment to the above address.
Student Members
Students 14 to 22 years old pay a reduced annual dues of $15 and no enrollment fee. Fill out the application form and email it to: membership@trivalleywriters.org. Please state “New Student Member” in the subject line of your email. Or you may snail mail your application and payment to the above address.
Renewing Members
Renewing members pay $45 for annual dues for renewal. Please let the membership chair know if you have any new publishing credits in the past year. You may pay your renewal via PayPal below, or you may snail mail your renewal payment to the above address.
