Erika Gardner is a sixth generation San Franciscan of Irish descent who attended the University of California at Davis and completed degrees in Medieval History and Biological Sciences. A life long writer, after successful careers in purchasing/project management, she turned to writing full-time in 2011.
In August 2015, Erika signed with Tirgearr Publishing of County Meath, Ireland. Her first novel, a contemporary fantasy titled, The Dragon in The Garden, is now available. The Dragon in the Garden is Book One of The Watcher Rising Cycle, a trilogy.
Erika resides in Northern California with her husband, Eric, three amazing kids, and her chocolate Labrador, Selkie. When not writing, Erika coaches middle school cross country and track, gardens, and scuba dives.
